Manual Handling Risk Assessments
To upload a manual handling risk assessment you will need to click on the risk assessment module on the site dashboard and click on the manual handling assessments. You have two options on how you can add a manual handling risk assessment- you can add a historic one or you can create one in Safety Cloud.
To add a historic one you will need to click create historic assessment, as highlighted in the image below.
Similarly to adding other risk assessments in Safety Cloud, you will need to fill in the title of the assessment/the activity, fill in who it has been assessed by, date of assessment and upload the relevant file using the browse button. Make sure you click to save information.
To create one directly into Safety Cloud you will need to click create new, as highlighted in the image below.
You will then need to fill in the activity/title of the risk assessments, select the date of assessment and a date of review.
You will then need to fill in the form below.
NB- Please read the key highlighted below carefully. If you answer no to any of the questions you will need to input a risk rating. As the key states:
High risk- injury is inevitable or probable
Medium risk- injury is possible
Low risk- injury is unlikely, or possible adverse outcomes are only likely to be minor.
You have the ability to add an action to any of the questions by clicking in the action? box/column, highlighted in the image above.
At the bottom of the form there is a free text box in which you can type in specific control measures requires and then select an overall risk rating for the activity.
Make sure you click save information.
